Save the children! Hail Saint Cosimo and Damião ! Save our community library!!

Every September we remember these guardians of our community library. Founded by our dear Ruth Guimarães Botelho , the inauguration was in 2013 and had the entire space renovated and redesigned.  in 2020. All books are donations made by the community and can be visited by everyone in the city.

​

Our library also gave rise to the Geladeiroteca project (books taken to the communities through refrigerators transformed into libraries) and it was also the beginning for the creation of a small library in the Portelinha Community.

appreciate  all the hands that keep, organize and bring donations for it to get bigger and better!!
